Mental illness doesn't happen in a vacuum —neither does healing
Massachusetts-based mental health & educational services
At a Glance
Virtual therapy, coaching, and professional education offered outside of the insurance system to reduce administrative interference, care limitations, and unnecessary invasions of privacy. While diagnostic assessment is available and used when clinically meaningful, care is not dictated by insurance requirements or documentation demands. Services include individual therapy, groups and workshops, recovery coaching, dating/relationship coaching, and trainings for helping professionals and entities. Out-of-network services are intentionally priced, with sliding scale options for a limited number of clients. Here we prioritize the human work, not the paperwork!

Feminist lens applied throughout: we help clients understand how power, culture, gender, and societal expectations shape experiences, supporting empowerment, agency, and healing in a world that often undervalues them.
How Therapy Works Here
At The Feminist Way, we blend deep exploration with practical strategies so you leave each session with insight, language, and tools—not just emotional release. Our work is collaborative, warm, and honest. Together, we identify patterns, connect the dots, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others — so you’re not just surviving, but reclaiming energy, agency, and resilience in a world that often asks too much of you.
Styles of Therapy
-
Trauma-informed & nervous-system aware — honoring your body’s responses as much as your story
-
Relational & attachment-focused — you’re not “too much” here; your needs, feelings, and boundaries are valid
-
Evidence-based approaches — including CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, solution-focused, trauma-specific modalities and more
-
Somatic & parts work — integrating mind–body awareness, inner child work, and self-compassion practices
-
Skills you can actually use this week — practical tools for real-life challenges
-
Holistic care — addressing mind, body, relationships, and environment in a feminist, context-aware framework
